So our Kickstarter project had a great day yesterday, topping 100 backers. This was mostly due to an influx of Ehdrigohr backers looking to get a set of dice based on the Ehdrigohr theme. Take a look at Update #5 for more.

After two weeks, we have posted our fourth update to the Mystic Rose Kickstarter project. We have managed to wrestle our suppliers to get our backers the best deal we can. Swing on over a check out the update! In our latest update we present three more potential themes. Check out Update #3 for yourself! After getting some feedback from the gaming community, we have published a second update to the Mystic Rose Kickstarter with sample of potential future theme artwork. Head on over and see what folks have to say! So it’s been 24 hours since the launch of our Thematic Dice – Mystic Rose Kickstarter, and we are already 33% funded! This is a great result for a first day and we are hopeful that the project will continue to grow. Check out Update #1 over at the Kickstarter site to read up on where the project is heading! That’s right! After about six weeks of research and preparation, we are finally ready to announce our first Kickstarter offering . . . Thematic Fate Dice! Initially in the Kickstarter, we are offering the Mystic Rose line of Fate dice. The Mystic Rose is a six-sided Fate die with a thorned rose on two faces and a thorned pentacle on two more, with the remaining two faces being blank. There are no plus or minus signs on these faces, allowing the roller to determine which image constitutes a plus and which is a minus. But that’s just the beginning! If we get enough backers to reach our stretch goals, we will use the extra money to add more themes and colors to the offering. Take a look at the Kickstarter itself for more details! Don’t miss out on the Early Bird Power Pledge level! And keep your eyes here! We are currently working on getting a few more Kickstarter offerings ready as well!
So we had a bit of a slow down over the holidays. Manufacturers were difficult to get ahold of and so our information gathering stalled for a bit. But now we have the numbers and our first Kickstarter is a go! We are currently in the process of finishing the Kickstarter site. All that remains is a project image and a project movie which we will be finishing in the next day or two. Once those are good to go, we’ll be ready to pull the trigger. Expect an announcement next week about our first ever Kickstarter offering! So, we have zeroed in on a few potential Kickstarter Projects and are furiously involved in putting together the numbers. One in particular looks very promising. We have a few more i’s to dot and t’s to cross, but we are reasonably confident that when we have all the information, it will be a go. Look for more information to come soon. So it’s been a bit, but the site is finally up and running! As with any new site, there will be a lot of changes made over the next few days (mostly behind the scenes reconfiguring, but some visual changes as well), so please be patient. Front Range Games is currently looking into some ideas for products to be run as Kickstarter projects and we will let you know the minute we have something ready for the public.
